Finance

Whilst working for the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), I worked within the organisation’s Marcomms department to produce press releases and write technical content and industry news updates for the website.

I also created and edited content for the Scheme’s brand awareness campaign, which included writing topical articles about money-saving tips for different scenarios, like weddings, travelling, planning for a baby and buying a house.

The purpose was to make finance and money advice more relatable and to use these trigger topics to raise awareness about the protection FSCS offers bank and building society account holders. This required leveraging influencers to boost reach and engagement for blogs and articles.

Here are some content writing examples from the work I was involved with at FSCS, which included creating content for the FSCS website, plus copywriting for advertorial features in the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday and Metro newspapers.

These first examples are advertorials for the Metro:

I’m currently providing copywriting services to a FinTech marketing agency, Inbound FinTech, and their clients in the Financial Services industry. This includes creating inbound marketing content to attract key personas to brand websites and drive quality leads for FinTech and SaaS businesses.

If any of the copywriting work and content marketing campaigns mentioned above perk your interest, get in touch to discuss a potential project or writing task!
